SOURCING HANDGEL BOTTLESS - COVID 19
When the first lockdowns started all over Europe the need for handgel bottles was immense and almost all European manufacturers were fully booked. Handgel producers were struggling to find suitable packaging.
I was asked by a Scandinavian company to find them 300 and 500 ml PET bottles. Leadtimes of major producers at that time were 6 to 9 months.
I used all my knowledge and contacts and quickly was able to find a top European producer which had capacity left. A first order of 50.000 was deliverd within 1 week. 3 months later we had delivered a total of 2,5 million bottles to this customer.
This way we were able to contribute to the protection of many people in this Covid 19 pandemic.

SOURCING HAIRDRESSERS CAPES AND GOWNS
In full lockdown period I was asked by a large European player in the field of hairdressers accessories to help them source hairdressers capes which they were usually supplying from China. The supply chain from China was down due to Corona and I found them a European top quality alternative at the Asian price levels they were willing to pay and with delivery times from 1 to 2 weeks after an order; Thet received sampels and orderd the first 10.000 units which were deliverd within 2 weeks. The company is now looking, with my help, into the possibilities to shift more orders from their current Chinese suppliers to European suppliers. They offer short delivery times, top quality products at competive prices and it helps the European distributorr to become more sustainable.
